Considering the mention of shadows in some of the previous posts, I was curious to know how many of you are knowledgeable about the studies of the psychiatrist Carl Jung and his own theories on the matter.

and the less it is shown in your conscious life the blacker and denser it is
its not supposed to be inherently positive or negative i dont think
dont quote me on that though
its been a while since i discussed jung in depth
my sister tends to default to freud

True. Sometimes it is called the Id or the Archetype for this reason.

Someone who is cruel may have a shadow that is their opposite...but mainly, it is usually something that you wish to ignore, but is a part of you.

definitely pretty sure that wasnt what we encountered
but i suppose in that case my shadow would be into pop music and probably would enjoy discussions about feelings

I agree...still...do you think it odd compared to the clothing we have found around this place? One would expect no electronics at all.

It's a little too odd. Clothing that would fit better a play or at least something before this century...an electronic device that would better fit something from the 1980's.
