Considering the mention of shadows in some of the previous posts, I was curious to know how many of you are knowledgeable about the studies of the psychiatrist Carl Jung and his own theories on the matter.

Shadows do not have to look human-like either.

I don't know anything about Jung. Did he have a theory or something?

He proposed that humanity all had a shadow, born of their own darker desires or things they wish to ignore about themselves. Think of it like having a dark side to your own.

If you're not careful, the shadow may overpower you and become the dominant mind between both personalities. If we apply this literally it may even cause changes in a human's body or worse...

It depends how literal you can take this of course... I've personally seen it in mine.

Not myself, no...but I have seen a fellow classmate unfortunately caught in a similar situation. When your Id completely overtakes you.

One could argue it worked a little too well. He is a rather successful businessman now.

Oh no, please do not misunderstand me. However, it is thanks to defeating his self that he was able to reap the benefits.

It is a bit hard to explain but...a friend of mind would say he now has access to a 'cheat code'

Personally I would just call it a result of his affinity. The end result is that he has an aura that makes others interested and attracted to him. As a business owner, this is an incredibly boon.
