USER: #2471A3 - Minor Crafting Assistance Requested

Good morning. If I may, I'd like to make a request for some minor assistance, from anyone in the town who might possess the requisite expertise to assist me in a small endeavor of mine.

Recently, I came into possession of a cat; I expect some residents of Chroma may have seen it wandering around, as I believe it was a stray prior to my adopting it, and as such it is already accustomed to something of an independent lifestyle as opposed to that of a more domesticated housecat. She's rather distinctive — cream-white fur, with black ears, face, paws, and tail. Her name is Pearl, though I'm not certain if she's had that name long enough as yet to recognize it as her own. If you should happen to see her around, please be kind to her; if you happen to see her getting up to something she shouldn't, please either let me know or simply apprehend her and bring her back home.

In the interest of responsible pet ownership, I'd like to have her fitted with some sort of collar and tag to help identify her when she decides to take herself for a constitutional. Ideally, I'd also like it to include a bell or rattle of some variety, though that's largely a whim for my own benefit, as it would make it easier to identify when she's getting up to mischief around the house.

Assistance in this endeavor would be much appreciated, and I'll naturally recompense your time and industry accordingly — with the offer to prepare a favorite meal of yours, perhaps.

Trust me, it'd be pretty easy to tell. You could probably do so by touch alone, they're not usually quite so noticeable. But if you're worried about your housemates teasing you, I can keep an eye on things. And ask Damian to do the same. The gestation period is roughly 60-65 days, give or take. If it's been long enough you might even notice her abdomen swelling.

Don't worry too much about the morning sickness, it doesn't last very long.

They will assuredly tease me, but I suppose it's a sacrifice I needs must be willing to make, for the sake of being a responsible pet owner.

Though I certainly won't decline your help, if you're offering. You seem quite knowledgeable about the business of pet cats — and it sounds as though you kept quite a few yourself, back home?

I'm also available to intimidate your roommates if they insist on teasing you.

A few that were mine, anyway. I had sort of an open window policy when I was living on my own; fostered kittens, fed the strays, looked after their general well-being, let THEM decide whether or not they wanted to stay long term. I like cats.

You sound as though you would get along smashingly with my friends, actually, intimidation or not. They're tender-hearted young men who can't help but want to rescue every kitten they see. More than once I ended up with a soggy box of them in the passenger seat of my car, after one or the other made a daring rescue in a rainstorm.
