Two questions.
1) Of the items received and brought back from most recent events, has anyone gained something that can be used for the whole town? Things such as seeds, bandages, medicine, etc. It might be worthwhile to throw together a resource pool if it hasn't been done so already.
2) If you could pick something at all from home that would help you get through the day here, what would it be? A type of food, clothing you prefer, your favorite flower. Things like that. If you're comfortable with sharing, I'd like to hear from you.

i think i managed to get most of the stuff i've been missing. a ct scanner would be nice. so would an ecm. oh, and pizza!

CT Scanner? ECM? I want to make sure I'm not thinking of something else here. Pizza is reasonable though.

I have a suit at home that I enjoy wearing. [ a BATsuit. ] But it isn't practical here so I haven't prioritized it.

i'm not sure there's any kind of ct scanners besides the kind that were used to scan our brains back home? or if there are i don't know about them. ecms i guess only exist where i come from? it's short for esper counter measure. they're machines that emit waves that cancel out psychic waves making so espers can't use their powers.
i miss pizza....i'm not sure i even remember what they taste like anymore... TTnTT
but you know. even if it wasn't practical having some things that are only here to make us feel better isn't a bad thing. it's why everyone is so happy to have food that has colour, right?

That's what I thought of when you said CT scanner but I can't imagine what the use of it would be here. We don't even have electricity. I don't understand the use for the ECM would be either, even with the explanation. Those are things that would make you feel better though? Why?

because i'm an esper and not to brag but a pretty strong one too! but that means head injuries can be a problem. and if i catch a cold and get a fever it also affects my control over my powers. i'd just rather not hurt anyone with my powers by accident.
[Also, you know. If she's ever in a situation where her powers go at full blast for twenty minutes she will explode and take a 15km radius out with her.]
it was something i was worried about before. but i got a spare limiter! and i know guren-san can at least absorb some of my power with that sword of his in an emergency. so it's not as big a deal now. and there's someone who can check me for head injuries and they don't need to be plugged into on outlet! so we've sort of worked out a system for now!
[It'd just still be nice to have those things but at this point she's pretty much resigned herself to the fact that it wasn't going to happen.]
i do. but like, eating the colourless food doesn't hurt us besides emotionally, right? but the first time i had an orange that actually tasted like something here i was so touched i could have cried and i've definitely felt happier and more energetic knowing that i can eat things that actually taste good.

It doesn't, it just tastes like ash. It's not that enjoyable, so I agree with the stark difference between tasting the two. It's definitely a mood lifer.

yeah. but now that the ingredients don't taste like ash i can't use them as an excuse for why my cooking tastes terrible, haha...thank goodness a lot of people here are willing to cook for other people!
