Hello. This is Giorno.

If anyone would like me to help build a farm, that would be wonderful. The animals are on me, I just need a place and a couple of helpers to feed and keep watch. I'm a city boy, I don't know what's involved in farming, but I'll do my best.

A marvelous idea. I admit, I know little of farming, but surely the more hands the better.

People can come and keep them company, if that's what it takes for the animals to settle here. I don't mind. And it provides a means of distraction in this town, even if it's not the most exciting kind of work.

If it helps, I can bring my horse to visit as well. Do animals feel calmer with their own kind?

The animals will come easily. The bulk of this is going to be building it. I'm getting some good talk, which is a lot more than I expected, and that's lovely.

Our community is a unique bunch, but the majority of them will always be happy to help. I'm not surprised.

That's surprising to me. Did we just luck out and ended up having nice people come out of the well? Do they filter that before shoving the next crop of newbies on us?

Actually, this is a theory I've been working on. Maybe "nice" isn't the exact word, but there isn't anyone here downright villainous.

We have our fair share of pranksters and quick tempers, but no bullies, tyrants, or bloodthirsty rebels. This has been going on for months, and not once has a person like that appeared.

Interesting.

In any case a tyrant would be bored here. There's not much to rule over. And you can hardly rebel against creatures whom we have limited contact with. As for bloodthirsty people, I'm sure they're just being kept in check by their peers or they've found another obsession entirely.

I suppose those are good counterpoints. Not to mention that even if some delirious madman came here to wreck havoc, they'd be stopped in seconds, as our numbers would vastly overwhelm them.

I don't know. If I were someone like that I wouldn't waste my time in a direct assault. It'd happen slowly. Probably influencing others to turn on each other like a plague.

But that's going to need multiple people involved and is so much more of a pain.

You are absolutely right, though. Not that I'd like someone to ruin our town - it's just hypothetical stuff - but they will be stopped as soon as possible.

See, it's even better that we have someone like you here - who can understand the criminal mind, and thus easily thwart them. We all are quite fortunate to have who we have here.

It all comes down to having a variety of people. That's the only way we would be able to take care of ourselves.

If we could learn more about this town that would be better. But we're not given much to work from, really.

Hopefully, more clues will reveal themselves in time. We've no choice but to be patient.
