Addressed to all:

Now that things have settled again after the recent incident, I want to make an offering.

As a child, and into my adult years, I underwent spiritual training on a daily basis to forge a bond with the ancient gods of my land. The purpose of this training was to unlock myself to the world, and gain its wisdom in the process. Though it was a long process, I was successful.

In times of struggle and strife, it can be difficult to figure out where one should turn. It's easy to feel abandoned, and harder to feel united, and you may question if there is any care in the grand scheme of the universe. No one person won't ask themselves if they should take their sufferings and bottle them inside, or reveal them to the world with the fear of judgment. To take hammer to the wall that shields the vulnerable heart is no easy task. Some don't want to break it. Others need help.

To insert an opinion into this, I no longer trust in the higher beings on this realm who brought us here to be of any help. They want us to restore their color, but don't care to grant us any protections in danger. So we must help ourselves, and each other, in times of disillusionment. I've come to feel very strongly about this following the sirens kidnapping.

The purpose of this posting is such: I want to offer myself to others as a spiritual guide. If you feel yourself conflicted, or feeling you have lost your path, or if you want to pray with someone beside you, then you may request me. I ask for nothing in return other than your patience and belief. More so in yourself than me.

If you have questions you may place them here. Comments and discussion into these topics are also accepted.

-Zelda

[ a bright, yellow text. ]

Hello. This is Giorno.

If anyone would like me to help build a farm, that would be wonderful. The animals are on me, I just need a place and a couple of helpers to feed and keep watch. I'm a city boy, I don't know what's involved in farming, but I'll do my best.

I live at
[ directions here towards a yellow house in flavo, covered with flowers. ] if you need anything else.

Thank you.

[After approximately ten years figuring out how to use his laptop, it's really a blessing that the forum is so simple, Phoenix delights in how similar this is to writing and throws out an offer to Chroma.]

i made a discovery the other day.
theres a forge near the center of town but it doesnt look like its been used in awhile.
i realized recently that i cant do the same things everyone else does but this is something i am good at.
so if its okay id like to take over the forge.
i can make and repair tools and weapons if necessary you just need to show me what you want.

[Okay, maybe not that similar, he still has a lot to learn, and he totally forgot to even introduce himself, but he'll probably pick it up. Some day.]

I think it's finally hit me, how long I might be here. How long I might be away from everyone.

I don't remember any time before that I've felt... I suppose 'lonely' is the best way to describe it. The feeling isn't unfamiliar, but until now, it'd been so distant in my heart that I couldn't remember it.

I've been with my friends, my comrades, for a few human centuries now. I don't know how just a few months here feels even longer than that. I'm at a loss, especially without him to watch out for. I find myself waiting for him sometimes in the morning, thinking he'll show up, hungry and sleepy-eyed, but he's not here. It's better he's not when there's always so much work to do, really, but I guess I never thought any of us would be apart.

Death can't separate us, after all. I'm surprised anything was powerful or manipulative enough to keep them from finding a way here.

I guess I wonder how other people are coping with it. How you deal with not being around the person or people you've centered your life around and love so dearly. I don't think I comprehend those feelings as well as a human would, but it'd be nice to just talk about those feelings together.

(it's ur homie)

aight gather round for okuya$u's latest creepy town update
and don't tell me not to do it because i already did it so suck on that
but while half of us were sick as shit and the other half were kidnapped me and emma went to check out the well

like from the inside

u nerds out there might wanna write this one down

mostly it was just cold and wet (no shit) but overnight it exploded with magic? at least i think it was at night
kinda hard to tell from in there
it was pretty much just blinding us for a couple min but we already know the well's gotta be magic so what else could it be? magic

[This is the best explanation he can come up with, don't @ him.]

and we saw some crazy stuff! i saw people building the stupid well, like other people, and it was normal and nobody was a fucked up monster or a ghost or anything!
and emma saw more mystery people moving into town and then all of us were dots by color like on lupin's map but magic
and people were connected to stuff that has color i think?
so mr. F must be keeping track of who's "fixing" what stuff with the wrong damn colors

don't ask me what stuff ur stuck to on the color map though cuz i didn't see it
and i haven't seen emma since the other day in the well so
she's probably gone

that's all i got this time folks
well still sucks, mr. F still sucks, we're all still here

[This terrible color RIP all your eyes]

Hey guys! Sorey here.

So, there's a couple of things I'd like to share.

When we were able to go home briefly, Mikleo and I brought back a female mountain goat. She's young, though, and kinda small. [She had to be so they could easily take her from the memory.] But we expect her to be able to provide milk for us and the town once she grows up a bit more. Should be a few months, give or take. [Unless someone with time powers wants to come speed that up.]

We don't have any enclosure for her, though, so we're letting her stay in the house for now.

[Does anyone reading this have experience keeping goats? Even back home the goats remained wild so he and Mikleo have zero idea what they're doing. Please help them.]

Mikleo was also able to bring back a prickleboar from home. They're small animals that we hunted a lot growing up. I've done everything to prepare it and I don't mind sharing what I was able to get from it with anyone who wants it. There's a few cuts of meat, a few strips of jerky, its hide, tusks, and hooves. The meat has color.

Also, we got two small boxes full of weirdly colored raspberries. [They're seafoam green.] They taste fine, though? And there's a whole lot more than we need or want, so I don't mind sharing these with anyone who wants them either. Just let me know!

[Sorey is very generous with these spoils, so if you want or need anything, come to him!

ooc: For convenience, we can pretend threads happen either before or after this month's event.]

Please complete these quests. If you do, there may be a reward awaiting you.

Once upon a time, there lived a young man in an azure district. While his family wanted for nothing in terms of wealth, the man's heart sought one most felt was beyond his reach. His heart's desire was a poor but comely man who hailed from the crimson district, and his beauty had already drawn several suitors from that same district to his side in the hopes of claiming his heart for their own.

The young man despaired, for he knew to approach his love whilst hailing from another color would be a fruitless effort indeed. Thankfully there was another, a true friend, a young woman of the brighter, sunnier district, who was there to offer her assistance. It was then that he was told of a legend passed down through her family: in the forest dwelt a miraculous hen whose feathers shimmered with every color of the rainbow. The one who obtained the hen and brought it back would achieve true love with whomever he gifted it to. But a warning accompanied the legend. If the hen did not come willingly, or if the seeker succumbed to temptation, a terrible curse would befall them.

Determined to acquire this hen, the young man entered the forest. As he walked deeper and deeper, the path grew more and more tangled, until he came to a split in the path. One path went left, clogged with bushes and brambles. The other beckoned right, golden flowers and gleaming gem-like rocks lining it.

The leaves of the trees rustled and sighed, and he thought he heard a voice, no more than a whisper, say, "No bond strengthens from an easy path."

The young man was then reminded that he would be tested, and chose the left path. As it appeared, he faced a difficult progression, and was becoming weary and parched when he glimpsed through the trees a clear spring where the water shone like diamonds. The path continued past it, but the man paused.

Again, the trees seemed to whisper to him, "No bond strengthens from a fickle heart that cannot commit."

The young man steeled himself and continued, his legs sore and bleeding from the brambles, until he entered a clearing. There, he beheld a beautiful hen with shimmering, colorful feathers. So gladdened by the sight was he that he did not heed the warning whisper of the trees this time, merely grabbing the hen and running back through the forest with it clasped to his breast.

The hen was presented to his love, and a marriage was arranged between the two of them nigh immediately.

But the forest was displeased, and thus laid a curse upon the young man and the entire town. From that day forward, the young man began to change. He found himself unable to care for his family. He found himself unable to understand why he had wished to give his heart to another.

And as his bonds weakened and broke and he failed to make new ones, he began to forget those around him. Eventually, he was last seen walking into the forest and was never heard from again.

But the forest appeared to have crept closer to the town, and the town itself began to lose the color it had treasured for so long. More and more of the townsfolk began to succumb to the curse that the young man had unleashed, and as more of them disappeared, the forest drew closer still.

Until there was no one left and the town was silent and drab.

To this day, the town waits for someone to break the curse, to restore color and to demonstrate once more the true strength of bonds.

THE END
