User: #FFDF00 - Mapping teamwork!! And other inquiries
Hi, everyone! This is Izuku Midoriya, in case you don't know my hex code yet.
1. Since it looks like we're stuck here for a while longer, I was thinking it would be a good idea to try collecting more information on this place, specifically the forest. As of right now, it's probably our best bet for finding a way out of here, and it's a source of food, too. [No matter how bad it all tastes.] Yaoyorozu-san and I have been trying to put together a working map, but we just don't have enough information to work with right now.
What do you think of us all working together to map the forest out? If we're successful, we'll be able to mark out the safer paths to take, as well as where we can find anything edible. The more people we have for this, the faster we'll be able to get the information we need!
2. If you've already gone into the forest and encountered something like the shadow monsters or some kind of magical trap, let me know! I can put together a database of sorts on this forum so we all know what kind of danger to look out for when we head in. I'll keep it updated if we run into anything else during this group trip, too.
3. Not related to the information gathering, but has anyone managed to find anything like tshirts and jeans around this place? I've found some extra clothing while cleaning this past week, but most of them don't fit me and they're not really in a style that I'm used to. So, if anyone needs an extra set of clothes, come find me?
(ooc: Sign ups for the forest exploration can be found here!)

I know that feeling.
I guess all we can do is all we can do. Since doing nothing is no good option.
[But Keith understands the doubt. He's wished Shiro were here to ask advice more than once. Even if he'd never actually wish getting stuck in this place on any of his friends. He still feels like Shiro would know what to do. And he knows he's a poor candidate to try to fill those shoes.]

You're definitely right about that. Waiting around and doing nothing is going to help any of us in the long run. At least, a lot of people are willing to pitch in and help with this.
[He just hopes that they're not making a mistake by putting their trust in him.]
no subject
Yeah, don't mention it. If you need help with anything, you know, just say the word. I may have no idea what the hell is going on here, but I'm used to that. And I'm used to fighting my way through things if I have to.
I have to think most people want to find a way home. That should be pretty good motivation.
no subject
It's always easier to work together when everyone has a common goal, like getting home.
no subject
Exactly. Back home the uniting cause was the war against the Galra Empire. It brought all sorts of planets and peoples together. This isn't war, but still. We've got to do what we can to fight for our freedom here too.

Still no reply from the user who posted the quest?

I'm not sure what to think of them yet. They could've at least warned us that the furniture and houses would turn against us.
no subject
We got our wrists slapped. I wouldn't be surprised if it escalates in the future.
Harder tasks, harsher consequences.
[That's a cheerful thought, right?]
no subject
[He's maybe a little naive in that respect.]
Let's hope that isn't what happens. I think everyone's stressed and worried enough as it is without someone messing with us like that.

I'm not so inclined to think the people behind the riddle and kidnapping quiznak have our best interests at heart.
[And Keith is a cynic. So really they balance out pretty well, should they ever realize this.]
Yeah, I really hope you're right. Everyone already has enough to deal with. But I'm not counting on it. I'd rather prepare for the worst and never have to face it than not be ready for it if it does come.
no subject
I'm not saying that we have to agree with them, but maybe there's a lot more to the situation than we think.
I think that's for the best, too. Even if it's unpleasant to think of the worst case scenario, it's better to be prepared for it.

If this is some "they mean well" bit, then what do they mean?
There's a lot we don't know, so fine, maybe that'll change. But right now, I'm not keen on giving them the benefit of the doubt.
no subject
Maybe I just want to believe things aren't as bad as they could be.
no subject
Between the options, I'd rather you were right anyway.
[But he'll still be on the lookout for the worst.]

You being really cautious and me being really naive. It's funny that it turned out like this. If we're lucky, maybe the truth is somewhere in the middle.
no subject
I guess we kind of do.
Though "cautious" isn't one I usually get accused of. Reckless, usually. Cynical.
Either way, yeah, the truth is probably somewhere between. I hope we find it soon.
