User: #FFDF00 - Mapping teamwork!! And other inquiries

Hi, everyone! This is Izuku Midoriya, in case you don't know my hex code yet.

1. Since it looks like we're stuck here for a while longer, I was thinking it would be a good idea to try collecting more information on this place, specifically the forest. As of right now, it's probably our best bet for finding a way out of here, and it's a source of food, too. [No matter how bad it all tastes.] Yaoyorozu-san and I have been trying to put together a working map, but we just don't have enough information to work with right now.

What do you think of us all working together to map the forest out? If we're successful, we'll be able to mark out the safer paths to take, as well as where we can find anything edible. The more people we have for this, the faster we'll be able to get the information we need!

2. If you've already gone into the forest and encountered something like the shadow monsters or some kind of magical trap, let me know! I can put together a database of sorts on this forum so we all know what kind of danger to look out for when we head in. I'll keep it updated if we run into anything else during this group trip, too.

3. Not related to the information gathering, but has anyone managed to find anything like tshirts and jeans around this place? I've found some extra clothing while cleaning this past week, but most of them don't fit me and they're not really in a style that I'm used to. So, if anyone needs an extra set of clothes, come find me?

She is! Uraraka-san's great. [Gush about his friends to his other friends? Not as impossible as it might seem...] I bet the two of you would work together pretty well, too.

A...hero agency name? [Izuku laughs a little.] Um, I always wanted to be All Might's side kick when I was growing up, but... I never thought I'd be able to open an agency of my own.

[glaciers]

[Both Todoroki and Uraraka gushed about Midoriya to each other so honestly... This seems reasonable enough to him.] It would be another short range-long range team up. We'll have to try it out some time.

I think people would question you if you named your agency after All Might. You're Deku. ... And considering everything that's happening, it wouldn't be that weird for you to try to establish an agency as soon as you graduated.

[inheritance]

Maybe I could convince Ichinose-sensei to host something like a teamwork exercise? Ah, I'm not sure if he'd be willing to, though...

[Izuku pauses, looking surprised.] You really think so? Um, about establishing one so soon.. I mean, people usually try to work as sidekicks a little before going off on their own, don't they?

[glaciers]

We could probably do something on our own. We don't have to bother him too much.

People usually don't get attacked by villains as much as we do. Besides, I know how a hero agency is supposed to run. [He's certainly been trained for it- even if Endeavor thought Shouto was going to take over his company.

Ridiculous.]

[inheritance]

We have been attacked a lot... [To a ridiculous degree, even.

He slides a concerned look over at Todoroki.] Because of your dad. [It's not even a question.] Has he...bothered you since we moved into the dorms?

[glaciers]

He showed up during remedial training.

[Everything about Shouto's stance and expression gives off the feeling he didn't want him there.]

[inheritance]

What?! [Izuku sits up so quickly, he almost falls out of the chair.]

What was he doing there?

[glaciers]

Watching his prize son.

... All Might was there too, I guess. Maybe they talked. I don't care.

[inheritance]

[All Might and Endeavor... Izuku's expression says exactly what he thinks of that.]

At least he hasn't been trying to bother you in the dorms. [Izuku would have to fight him if he did... no one messes with his friend, not even the technically #2 hero.]

[glaciers]

He won't be bothering me while we're stuck out here either.

... I guess I'm thankful for that.

[inheritance]

That's one silver lining. [Izuku musters a smile.]

So, he just showed up to the lessons... and watched? That's it?

[glaciers]

He tried to pat me on the head.

[Shouto looks incredibly sour about that.]

[inheritance]

He did what?

[He says it all with an incredulous look on his face. That sounds so...unlike the Endeavor that he's heard about.]

[glaciers]

He said he wants to be a better hero for me.

[G R O S S]

I don't know what All Might said to him.

[inheritance]

That's...surprising.

[A soft sigh escapes him.] If anyone could change his mind, it'd be All Might, but... I thought he hated All Might. Do you think he'd really listen to anything he said?

[glaciers]

I don't know and I don't care. He's a good hero despite everything else about him. So that doesn't really mean anything to me.

[ Shouto still comes across as sulking. ]

Trying to be a better father or husband would mean a lot more.

[inheritance]

[Oh, Todoroki... Izuku doesn't blame him at all for being upset.]

Maybe...that's something you can bring up to him, if he tries to approach you again. [He tugs at his bottom lip nervously.] If it means your mom could get out of the hospital, that can only be a good thing...right?

[glaciers]

[ His father can make amends all he wants but Shouto wants nothing to do with him.

But... Mom... ]

She's been there for ten years... It'd be nice if she could leave.

[inheritance]

[Izuku watches him carefully, thinking he could guess at Todoroki's train of thought.]

He's done a lot to you and your mom--you don't have to forgive him right away or... at all, if that's what you decide. But if he really means to make amends, I think it could be worth it to see what he does.

Just...whatever happens, don't let this eat at you again, okay? You have me and the others now. We'll have your back if you need us. [He knows it's a lot to ask, considering Todoroki's history, but Izuku doesn't want to see his friend so sad again, the way he was earlier in the year.]

[glaciers]

[ Whenever he feels lost Midoriya is right there to help him, isn't he? He shouldn't be surprised that his friend can read him like a book after everything they've been through together. ]

I don't think I can forgive him.

... But thank you, Midoriya.

[inheritance]

[Izuku ducks his head, relieved that his words had been well-received.]

You don't have to thank me. Being there for each other is what friends do.

[glaciers]

[ There's a moment of uncomfortable silence. Time to be honest and vulnerable again.

At least Midoriya is the only one here. ]

I'm still not... Used to having friends yet. I don't really know what to do.

[inheritance]

Just keep doing what you've been doing so far, Todoroki-kun.

You're already being a good friend--you've been looking out for me all this time, and you helped Iida-kun when he was struggling with what happened to his brother, too.

[glaciers]

[So he's doing it right.

That's a small relief to hear.]

Of course I'm looking out for you. You're a trouble magnet.

[inheritance]

[He makes a tiny, strangled noise in his throat.]

Why does everyone say that?
