#030066 - Defense Force, and a Question

It’s Dextera, again. I’m sorry to post something again so soon.

Guren disappeared a few days ago. He went home. He told me that Zelda was intended to take over the Defense Force, but it looks like Zelda has gone as well.

I don’t want to take it over. If there’s anyone who thinks they’d like to run it, I believe Guren’s notes still exist. Please take them.

[ even the text is dripping with despair, honestly. ]

And, I have a personal question, unrelated to the Defense Force.

What would your ideal world look like? If you could create something entirely new… what would you want in it?


( just as it says, there’s currently no one running the defense force! if anyone is really interested in taking it over, feel free to make an ooc post about it or put it up for discussion or whatever you feel is best, otherwise both zelda and guren’s players have said they’re fine with handwaving it! )

yeah. Taking away what makes people human wouldnt be right

I dont have any solutions. Its just something that would be nice, if there were ways to fix it

What do you do when something hurts so much you can’t stand it?

If that world can’t exist, how are people supposed to keep going?

people are strong. I think in my world, even if it hurts, people will rally together and fight back. They wont just let demons scare everyone into destroying themselves

I never knew Guren but if he cares about you, I dont think he would want you to give in, either

I know that. I know. No one wants anyone else to give in because something hurts, right?

But I don’t know how to stop this feeling.

if you care about someone, that feeling wont just go away.

do you really want it to go away, anyway? or would that be the same as not caring about them at all?

[ akira is making good points, of course he is, but it’s impossible for dextera to just say that he wants to hold onto this feeling, because he doesn’t. the weak, scared part of him wants it to just be over. ]

How do you deal with pain? Ryo told me a lot about you. You’re empathetic. You’re a good person.

I don't know. I try to keep it inside, but sometimes it just explodes. I want to cry, or fight something. I feel really helpless when that happens.

[Akira might be good at feeling things, but it doesn't mean he's any the wiser on how to deal with those feelings.]

I guess finding a way to vent those feelings makes me feel a little better. even if it only hurts more in the short term
