#FFFFE0 - An Offer

If anyone has looked at the quests, you may notice that one requires “a new experience.” In the interest of efficiency, I am offering a spectacular opportunity that will be mutually beneficial for myself and any Red who chooses to take me up on my offer.

As you may be aware, I am what some may call a “vampire,” and as seems to be common amidst all the universes, I require blood. (Do not hunt me. I am capable of controlling myself without it and you will regret the attempt.) If you would like to exercise your altruistic instinct for a poor, thirsty maiden, my doors are open.

If that isn’t enough incentive, I am capable of temporarily turning you into the undead and doubling your strength. You will be under my thrall, but what is life without a little danger?

Serious inquiries only, please. I am especially looking for an arrangement with longevity.

there's all kinds of people in the world. while i'd rather be alive than undead myself, perhaps someone here might be willing to give their life for you.

would it be alright to ask what you are the founder of, exactly?

If you had to guess, what would you assume? Think carefully, and please be nice.

a city? a country? a sect? those are the only things i can think of that might be founded, at least.

I’ll give you partial credit. I founded a sect and a village, but I haven’t quite gotten around to an entire country.

two of the three is already quite an accomplishment. i'm sure you must have quite devout followers in your homeland, even if they may not be here with you now.

I do. [ she did, at least. ] Unfortunately, the average caliber of person in this town falls somewhat short of my standards.

may i ask what sort of standards those are?

You must not be a pest, and you must know when to hold your tongue in front of me. Furthermore, you must have a good head on your shoulders.

I don’t think those are so unfair.

those don't sound entirely unreasonable, i suppose.

[and he can think of an annoying blabbermouth or two pretty easily....ahem.]

surely there are some in this town who can fit that criteria though! there are many who are quite friendly, if not entirely polite.

It sounds like you’re trying to campaign for my good graces. Could it be you secretly want to become a vampire?

i'd rather not, sorry to say! my own responsibilities would make it rather difficult to offer my loyalties to you in such a way.
