#FFFFE0 - An Offer

If anyone has looked at the quests, you may notice that one requires “a new experience.” In the interest of efficiency, I am offering a spectacular opportunity that will be mutually beneficial for myself and any Red who chooses to take me up on my offer.

As you may be aware, I am what some may call a “vampire,” and as seems to be common amidst all the universes, I require blood. (Do not hunt me. I am capable of controlling myself without it and you will regret the attempt.) If you would like to exercise your altruistic instinct for a poor, thirsty maiden, my doors are open.

If that isn’t enough incentive, I am capable of temporarily turning you into the undead and doubling your strength. You will be under my thrall, but what is life without a little danger?

Serious inquiries only, please. I am especially looking for an arrangement with longevity.

I am really strong. Thank you for noticing. But it’s because I’m strong, and not because I’m a vampire. A weakling who becomes undead would just be an undead weakling.

That makes sense, I think. You can't just be strong because you're one thing or another. You have to be strong all around and already to do that.

Luckily, I only choose people I like to become vampires. Everyone else becomes my servant.

Ohhh... you must have a lot of servants then. I can't imagine many people are great enough to become vampires.

You would be right. I’m missing a few in this town, however, hence the advertisement. A girl can never have too many servants.

Huhhh. I'm a girl without any servants at all, though! What should I do?

[regrede]

Oh dear. How can you be expected to survive without at least one servant? This simply won’t do!

Oh no, I have to do better! What should I do? How should I get a servant?

[regrede]

I bet that nasty housemate of yours would do just fine. Give him a good bite on the neck, and voila.

But I'm not a vampire! If I bite him, nothing will happen!

I don’t know if “nothing” would happen.

When you’ve become enough of a lady, the servants will come flocking.

I’m afraid so. If you give it a little time, though, I’m sure you’ll grow into a fine young woman.

How much time, though, how muuuch? I don't know if I'm patient enough for that!

Oh, that’s the problem, then. A lady must be patient.
