#C1BA57 - "Religious Texts"
This is Cairngorm.
There have been a few changes to the books in the library
I was able to restore a few to their original state using some of the ink we all received
I wanted to restore some historical records, but it didn’t go as planned. I’m currently going over some logs about the daily lives of the inhabitants, but something more vague restored alongside them
It was a book about the town’s original inhabitants’ “religion” and “worship”
To be honest, my kind don’t have those things. So I’m not going to be the best at interpreting it
If it even means anything useful.
They seemed to care a lot about separation is about all I can get from it
There are probably those of you out there who know more about religion and who might understand this text more. I’ll explain the contents to you or even show the book to you - if you don’t mess with it.
By the way
Do any of you have the means to build a box the size of a head?
It’s for storing something head shaped.

[ dextera just airing his weird crush on ryo in front of everyone… it’s fine. though, that does bring him to the next point in his message, and probably the more productive part. ]
I’d like to look at the book, if that’s OK. “Separation” is something that matters a lot to me.
no subject
He doesn't seem like it
You can come look at it though.
I know you won't do anything weird to it
If you want to see it now, I brought it to my house.
text → action
[ it’s for the best that he doesn’t continue to talk about ryo in public, even if it’s only for ryo’s regard for his own privacy. instead, he closes his laptop and gathers up a few things, but it’s not as if he has so many supplies with him. his important items are that he brings a notebook and a pencil, and then he hurries over to cairngorm’s home.
knock knock! ]

It's over here.
[ Over on the dining room table, just as they gesture to, is their open laptop and the two books they described on the network; both books are worn, and on the surface just like the books they'd all become familiar with over the past year as far as the covers go. ]
no subject
[ wow, air conditioning is incredible. maybe he should have used his notebook on that instead, but he thinks restoring color to the girls was a worthy endeavor. ]
These are the books?
[ he’s not shiho, so he can’t learn anything by touching them, even if he does brush his fingers over the cover of one. ]
Can I…?

What, is that some sort of religion thing?
no subject
Catholicism is a branch of religion in my world.
no subject
I thought they just lived on their own
Are you trying to say there's a lot of different religions
That all have their own orphanages

[ Cairn... you’re doing him a worry. ]
no subject
Where else would I put it
[ Nothing to worry about here?? ]

[ Now see here— ]

You remember the other gem who was here for some time I'm sure
Phosphophyllite?
[ he must have at least seen them around or heard their annoying voice... they're sure of it! ]

If you still need someone to help interpret religious texts, I would be glad to help. If it is something familiar to me, it would be a wonderful discovery.
However, may I ask what you are trying to store? Head-shaped is very specific.
no subject
I have no idea if any of the rituals inside are similar to those of other humans
So if you're knowledgeable, I'll allow you to look at it.
Just don't mess with it or build a fort out of it or something
Anyway,
it's a head I got from the forest. A replica of someone from my home world
no subject
I'm sorry? That's... Is that not odd to you?
no subject
It's not like there's anything better to do
And it isn't odd.
My kind can break apart and be rebuilt
The head isn't a human one if that's what you're thinking.
That would be disgusting

[Franslation: 'Thank you for doing that...
The books going back and forth and back and forth and back and forth
was confusing.]

Those are supposed to be faces
Happy ones?

ook
(╭ರ_•́) --> [≡] ☆.。* !!!
[It's a book.
Reading them will be much easier now!]
no subject
It would be better if I could restore them all at once, but
This will have to do for now.
Did you want to look at them?

Yours always,
Lupin
[ does he need to sign his message for them?? no but he is anyway. embarrassing on main ]
no subject
You wouldn't have anything to build it with.
[ skips over the embarrassing parts of this message like it's completely natural... they're too used to his antics now. ]
no subject
There's wood to spare elsewhere. I would recycle some rubbish furniture from around town before I cut into the supplies for the boat! Did you not know that I'm quite the handyman?
[ here's where he'd make a joke about being a good husband except he knows cairngorm wouldn't get it so what's the POINT ]
no subject
I knew you could build things already.
I didn't expect you to go breaking apart furniture for a box is all
Would it actually be easy or are you just saying that
