Hi, this is Joshua.

After we did one of the quests, Estelle and I found a crate full of live chickens in our house. We figured that a steady supply of eggs is probably going to be more useful in the long run than a few meals' worth of meat, so we're working on getting them settled in here.

[ Also, let's be real, eating them just seemed too mean after the chocobos decided these were clearly their tiny adopted offspring. ]

I'm not sure what the yield is going to look like yet, so we haven't figured out how much we'll have to share, or if they're even going to taste like anything yet. But in the meantime, while I think we've figured out how to get the yard fenced in well enough to prevent any escape artists, if you happen to see any of them wandering loose, we'd appreciate it if you could bring them back or let us know so we can collect them.

Your reward was chickens...?

I guess that's pretty useful, but somehow I wasn't expecting something so mundane.

I was expecting something a bit more fantastical, but I guess this isn't really an RPG.

[Uh.]

A type of game we used to play back home... there were a lot of quests in those sorts of games, and the rewards were usually pretty magical.
