Question for anyone. Or for everyone I guess.

How sure are you that you're still alive? Back where you're from I mean.

Like on a scale from 1 to 10. Where 1 is "I definitely died" and 10 is "I'm definitely still alive" and everything in between.

Thanks in advance. I know it's a weird question. I just... I gotta know.



[He's asked some folks, but the results so far are mixed. And Keith needs to figure out one way or another if this is just some weird unexpected afterlife, and he's at a solid 2.5 on his own scale so he's wondering.]

If I'm dead, there's something very big unaccounted for in my memory. Last thing I have, I wasn't around anything that should've posed a threat.

[ Well, okay, he was just coming off of a daring lone infiltration/rescue mission against some very dangerous people, but they'd gotten clear, and the Glorious is kind of freaking huge, it's hard not to see it coming. ]

Good. So you're pretty solidly alive. That's good to hear. I think most people fall into that camp, which is a relief.

[Keith is leaning towards this not being an actual afterlife. Which is a relief, but also means that he's more pissed at whoever dragged them all here.]

It raises more questions than it answers, nonetheless.

[ How do you get a bunch of the living and some definitely dead people in the same place? What does that? ]

This place is nothing but questions with no answers. I'm getting tired of it pretty quickly.

Which makes it even more infuriating that whoever brought us here won't even show their faces.

But they gave us laptops.

I think it's a safe assumption that they're reading everything we put here.

Yeah, without a doubt. They may be listening to everything in general. Who knows.

But we can't expect they don't know every word we say on this at a minimum.

For them to be listening, I'd expect some trace of that we can find.

Unless we're talking about an omniscient power.

Who knows. They dragged us all here.

They could even have planted moles among us to keep an eye on things. Not that I Think suspecting each other will help anything.

To be honest, I'd almost be relieved if they did. We'd at least have a potential avenue to apply pressure and figure out what they want from us.

At this point any shred of anything useful in terms of information would be great.

The continued nothing is frustrating.

Yeah. Not going to be easy, I'd bet. But we have to figure it out.
