USER: #C1BA57 - THE LIBRARY

( COLOR )

This is Cairngorm.

I've noticed that books have writing in them again, which means the library should be back to it's original form. It'll be more useful to everyone if it's organized and has librarians in charge of maintaining it. I'm used to doing work like that, so I don't mind organizing it, but it might be more time efficient to ask if there are others with the skills to help.

Firstly, we should familiarize ourselves with the restored materials. I've only been able to find useless books about talking animals so far, but one of you must have found something other than that by now. It would take years for me to read everything by myself, so if you could summarize any books you've found and return them to the library, you would save us all some time.

Secondly, has anyone considered keeping record of what's happening here? We should start creating archives for future reference now that we're able to. That's assuming we'll be stuck here for however much longer. There are other things like records of the plants and animals we come across that the library would benefit from as well, if you have any. We should be keeping all information like this in one place.

If you have other things in mind the library should have, or are familiar with any of the texts you find, let me know. I'd like to start working on this as soon as possible.

Nothing worth noting, though it could also be much worse, I suppose.

And certainly it will, but one should hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

About eighty years, I think?

What do you mean, about your planet? What happened?

it's a card game where you try to make more pairs than everyone else
you ask someone else if they have a card you need
if they don't, they tell you to go fish and you have to draw

i miss playing card games

[What she misses more though is winning.]

It's the current running theory. Conditions improve after quests are posted and then completed.

I don't know if the books we have will change again but we should consider the possibility. Either that or we'll find ones with useful information elsewhere.]

[Izuku's not surprised that Cairngorm would think so. Eighty years is short compared to the gem lifespan, there's no question about it.]

Thousands of years ago... so that means the gems were around when it happened, right? I guess it'd make sense that the rest of the animals would have to adapt after a disaster like the one you described.

By the way, if you're in the library now, I could head over soon! Maybe we could swap stories while we're organizing. I'd love to hear more about gem life, and you can ask more questions about humans, too!

Maybe. But the ones we've got used to be empty, and a few others were found in the forest itself. We haven't mapped it yet. Hopefully there are more answers out there, if anything.

Ain't that the truth.

Bookmark which ones you read, that way we don't cross over each other's search. I'll hit you up if I find anything, too.
