User: #FFDF00 - Bestiary, an update, and an offering!!
Hi, Chroma! This is Izuku Midoriya. We got a lot of new people since the last time I posted, so I thought I'd introduce myself again in case we haven't met yet. Anyway, there's a few things I wanted to discuss.
[Oddly enough, even though the newcomers' texts have all gained color recently, Izuku's is still the default black.]
1. I've finished the bestiary of the creatures we've come across in the forest & town so far. If there's anything missing, let me know and I'll add it in. I'll do my best to keep this updated and open for anyone to access on the forum from now on, in case anyone goes into the forest and comes across any of these again. Even if we keep running into new creatures, knowing what to expect can still help a lot.
You can find the information here: ╭( ・ㅂ・)و✧ (ooc: pretend it's a link to another forum post)
So far there's just this digital version, but I can also work on a physical copy to put in the library if people want that? It'll be easier to include drawings of these creatures that way.
2. It looks like there's a clear trend in the kind of creatures that we're running into now. The majority of them are from some kind of mythology, all from different cultures. A friend of mine was able to analyze some samples brought back from the forest, and it turns out that these creatures don't have a history, as if they were created solely for us to run into while we're in there.
Right now, the bestiary only includes the ones we know for sure are around, but after hearing what my friend had to say, I think it would be a good idea to add a section for other well known mythological creatures as a precaution.
What do you guys think?
3. That brings me to the next point! If you let me borrow something of yours last time, you can come pick it up now! Or I could bring it to you, whatever works.
4. I have a manual charger now! If you have a small electronic device that you want charged, just let me know and I'd be happy to help you out! I think it's only enough to work on cellphones and things like that, but that's better than nothing, right?

[That's a good idea, actually; Minato smiles a little in return, nodding.]
Let's do it.
[He scoots closer to, head tilted towards Izuku. SELFIE TIME.]
no subject
Once they hear the telltale shutter sound, Izuku practically bounces with excitement.]
Now that I have my phone, I can take pictures of Chroma and everyone! And videos, too! [He clutches the phone to his chest, smiling gently.] Now I'll definitely be able to remember what everyone looks and sounds like, even when I'm back home.
[It was a huge worry of his, that even with the letters and tokens he'd mentioned to Minato last time, that he'd eventually forget the details of the people he's grown close to here.]
no subject
This is nice. This is really, really nice.]
Yeah--this way, you'll always remember everything about everyone here. It's perfect.
[In all honesty--]
I feel like our situation here is getting a bit better, you know?
[What with the wishes and everything, and the way the town keeps improving.]

[And now, he leans over to peek at Minato's music player.]
So, what kind of music do you have on there?
[Since their devices are working again, Izuku almost feels like it would be a crime not to have a little sharing session.]
no subject
He's immediately excited, grabbing his mp3 player and tugging the headphones off that are eternally around his neck. He plugs the headphones in, and offers one to Izuku eagerly.]
All sorts, honestly... here, do you want to listen with me?
[They can listen to his music together, because he is Very Excited about this.
And the song they're going to get when he hits shuffle is something a bit different, probably.]
no subject
Of course! [Izuku's all too eager to press his ear against the headphone, humming happily when the song starts playing. It's been a while since he's listened to music like this!]
This is nice. [Izuku smiles at him.] You take your music with you everywhere, don't you? You're always wearing your headphones around.
no subject
Yeah... it's something I really treasure a lot.
[His mp3 player, his headphones--those two, simple things, and of course, all of the music on them.]
I guess music's something I've loved for a really long time. So even when my mp3 player wasn't working, I still wanted to keep it close by, you know?

[He listens for a bit more before smiling.] This kind of sounds like something Ashido-san would dance to in her free time.
no subject
That's a good idea, honestly... you should keep it safe so you can take pictures when you need to.
[That said:]
Ashido-san...? Who's that?
no subject
[Aaand since his phone's actually working now, Izuku quickly pulls up a picture of the girls of 1-A, clustered together in the classroom. Izuku points to the girl with pink skin, who's giving the camera a wide grin.]
That's her right there. She's really great at dancing! And one of the most energetic and friendliest people you could meet.
no subject
She does look really friendly.
[What a bright smile.]
Your classmates are all so different, huh... it must be a really energetic class with so many different personalities.
no subject
[He swipes his finger across the screen to pull up another picture of the whole class, pausing and smiling down at it wistfully.
There's a few faces that Minato would recognize--Izuku, of course, but also Iida, Todoroki, Uraraka, Yaoyorozu, and Kirishima.]
We've all been through a lot together.
no subject
[Minato just shakes his head, but he's enjoying looking at the picture; there are so many different people here, and to think that they all have their own unique powers...]
You guys are something special, deciding to be heroes like that. [To protect people...? He thinks it's pretty amazing.]
