USER: #A5211F - Bogeyman (Forward dated to the 26th)
(color)
The bogeyman that was hiding in town has finally been defeated, but it was at the cost of three lives. Dave, John and Dextera. I couldn't save them. I'm sorry.
Okuyasu and Asuka are badly injured, but are currently being treated for it. [He is too? He's bleeding all over his laptop, but it's fine.]
Dextera's body changed into something else, but the other two are still remaining. I think they both have family here, or something close. You can contact me and I'll tell you where they are, so you can arrange a burial or whatever you think is best.
I take full responsibility for this. There's still going to be a defense force meeting at the beginning of next month, so we can talk about it then. I know there could still be people missing from the werewolf thing, too, so keep your eyes open for them, alive or otherwise. If you have questions, I'll try to answer them.
That's all.
[Of course, after this, he'll be in his room at his laptop, so people are free to come bother him. He's covered in blood, most notably a stab wound straight through his chest at the heart, and it looks like he's only partially been able to deal with that. He's not bleeding out as quickly? But his healing isn't working. He's only just barely come back to consciousness from Mahiru taking over.]

[He can't even look annoyed at the laptop closing. He sits up, just enough so that Izuku can get to him. Most of the bad wounds are on his chest. Some on his side. The stab to his heart went straight through to his back, as well.
His chest is bare now, so all of that will be visible once he cleans the blood off. There are minor cuts and scrapes everywhere else, with the bruising.]
Thanks, Izuku. There are towels in the bathroom, if you need them.
no subject
Izuku wets one of the towels in the bucket and then carefully begins to wipe away all the blood on Guren's still. He's extra gentle around the worst of the wounds, and his eyes begin to sting again when he sees just how bad they actually are. He'd already known, of course, with the amount of blood covering Guren, but now that he has a clear view of the injuries, he can't help but cry a little, tears tracking a line down his cheeks. If Guren had come out of the fight like this, Izuku can't imagine how the others must have fared.]
How...are you still alive like this? I know Mahiru can heal you, but... this one right here... [Izuku's hand hovers over the horrible stab wound.] I-it's right over your heart, and it went through you...! [He can't even say anymore than that, falling silent in his distress.]
no subject
At least, until he speaks. Then Guren is looking at him, sad and empty and too lost in thought, but still trying to be present.]
I passed out shortly after that one happened. My demon took over, and that possession helped accelerate the healing just enough to keep me alive. Josuke helped a little more, when I dropped off Asuka and Okuyasu, but not enough. It healed my heart, I'm sure.
[He'd still been possessed when he stopped to see Josuke, and then he'd ditched, just like that.]
I guess I'm some kind of monster.
no subject
[An uncomfortable feeling sits in his chest. Izuku has a feeling that he's not going to like the answer he gets, but that doesn't stop him from shaking his head in protest all the same.]
Don't say that, sensei! You're not a monster!
no subject
[This is too complicated to word correctly or think about, and so he shakes his head. No need to mention multiple personalities or the differences in consciousness or anything.]
What matters is that I'm alive, even if they're not. Don't worry about me.
no subject
His eyes water and spill over again as he leans into his teacher's space and stares him right in the eyes.]
No offense, sensei, but that's the stupidest thing you've ever said to me. How can you tell me not to worry about you when you're injured like this? [And that's without going into the emotional pain Guren must be feeling along with all of this, too.] I care about you. Of course I'm going to worry.
no subject
He just doesn't take death of comrades well. He never has.]
no subject
Izuku drops the towel into the bucket and gingerly circles his arms around his teacher, not caring if he gets blood on his clothes. It doesn't seem important just now. The hug might surprise Guren, considering Izuku's never initiated something like this before.]
I'm...I'm going to stay with you. Until things... get better. Is that okay? [Izuku says, voice wobbly and thick with tears. Let me take care of you this time, he doesn't have to say.]
no subject
[He admits that much, at least, ruffling his hair just slightly before he lets his tired hand slip away and move to return that hug loosely, instead. Izuku hugging him... He's very aware of how surprising it is. He's shocked, but too tired to let it show on his face, and he hopes he's handling this okay.
He already screwed everything else up.]
Thanks, Izuku.
no subject
We're family. Looking out for each other is what family does. [Though Guren was the first to say this, and Izuku's repeated it back to him before, this time it really feels like the trust goes both ways.
Izuku finally pulls away, scooting back just a little so he can drag the bucket closer again.]
I'm almost done. You should rest after I've bandaged you up.
no subject
[It was nice to hear the word "family" used back at him, but he's stuck on so much else to listen completely. He'll let Izuku help him with his clear wounds that he could die from, if not assisted, but sleeping? He can go without sleep.
That's how he thinks, anyway.]
I can rest after that.
no subject
Izuku purses his lips slightly, just a bit suspicious even as he begins to wrap the bandages around Guren's injuries.] You promise you'll rest after you finish that?
no subject
Sure.
no subject
He waits a beat or two before piping up again, quietly--]
Are you feeling hungry at all?
no subject
[If he's being honest. But he looks to Izuku.]
Don't worry. I'll eat eventually. You can help me get it later, if you're not busy.
no subject
Okay, I will. Do you think your housemates will mind if I sleep on the couch?
[He's gonna stay here with Guren anyway, but it's probably polite to at least... ask. Or pretend to.]
no subject
[He's sweet like that. Guren isn't going to try to chase Izuku away at all. Not this time.]
