Okay, hit me if that's a stupid question or somebody's asked this before, but has anybody tried to make some sort of stairs or a ladder into that well by now? With the frequency we have people struggling to get out of it I'm starting to think making a permanent climbing help would make sense.
(Maybe also something like a 'first arrival bus stop hut' with blankets and a poster with FAQ while we're at it.)

[Maribelle better forgive him that simplification.]
You pretty much got it in one go! Pro-heroes are licensed government employed emergency responders more or less! We do all the classic hero work like fighting villains and saving people, but we also help when there are accidents, natural disasters, cleaning up parks, do social work... The whole works! Getting our licenses means that there's a set of rules we'll adhere to and which sets our duties and responsibilities to an extent. It's also good for getting paid and things like hero insurances, since having to worry about collateral damages while fighting can be a real pain.

[A FAIR POINT, PROBABLY.]
...
I can't decide if that's the most bizarre thing I've heard all day, or the coolest thing I've heard all week. Where do I apply for hero insurance for collateral damage, I need me some of that.

[He has to chuckle at her logic on his side.]
Oh man, now you've asked me a bit fast! To summarize it a bit much, I'd say that you need a hero license and to be part of a hero agency first before you can apply for one of those. The details are best left to a capable manager you can trust! But also thanks! I think it's pretty awesome myself!
Are you prone to causing lots of collateral damage?

Also if I had a manager I'm pretty sure he'd advise me to decline to answer that question. :)

It's true that they're the best places to learn at if you want to be a hero though, especially Yuuei. All our teachers are really skilled and experienced pro heroes themselves, so they not only know what they are talking about, they've also got tons of practical experience to pass on too! We've all learned and grown a real lot ever since we started this year thanks to them!
[Some are a little more than quirky, but how to you explain a Lifestyle Guidance Counsellor who needs to wear a muzzle and communicates in nothing but snarls and growls or that your own Homeroom Teacher tends to move around in a yellow sleeping bag that makes him look like an oversized caterpillar?]
So that's a yes. ;P Don't worry, a lot of us have quirks that can cause a lot of destruction if they aren't used carefully! That's why we're learning and need to pass the exams for those licenses after all! Do you know Shouto? Two-toned split in the middle in half hair, he's here as well? He's a classmate of mine and his standard attacks tend to be tossing either giant blasts of fire or even bigger walls of ice against his enemies!
