Okay, hit me if that's a stupid question or somebody's asked this before, but has anybody tried to make some sort of stairs or a ladder into that well by now? With the frequency we have people struggling to get out of it I'm starting to think making a permanent climbing help would make sense.

(Maybe also something like a 'first arrival bus stop hut' with blankets and a poster with FAQ while we're at it.)

Right? I've been thinking that something like a rope ladder or two would be plenty enough! We could even add a rope and a bell on the upper end so that anybody who can't climb the ladders for any reason can just call for help by ringing it!

Admittedly, I've been avoiding the well. I don't exactly mesh with water. People have been kind enough to bring water here for me.

But, I agree. If not some kind of device, maybe we could install a bell or something, so our town's float-y people can go help whenever new people arrive?

That's fair! We've all got things we're not that good with, so we got to just focus on what we're good at and how we can combine each other's strengths to make up for the small personal weaknesses! Are you no good with water at all or are it just big bodies of it or wells?

Yep! That's exactly the idea! You got it in one go, pal! I think we have a couple of those, so it shouldn't be a problem even if they want to sleep and do other stuff too!

i was thinking that earlier too. it's fine right now because it's warm but if it gets colder and people are stuck down there too long then it could be bad! especially since we don't have any doctors here.

i'm not sure a poster would be such a good idea though. wouldn't something like that make it all seem like a really elaborate prank?

You think? I figured that we could just sum up the most basic of questions like "food without color also doesn't have any taste" or "none of the people here is a local" like that and leave the more complicated one to in person answers, but if it's no good idea then we shouldn't.

I think I saw somebody claim that they're a doctor not long ago, but you're right. It was already pretty cold back when I woke up in the well, I don't want to imagine what it will be like once it's winter!

I can create something. It'd be like Jack in the Beanstalk, I suppose, with part of the wall of the well turning into vines or something sturdier, which they can then use to climb up.

Flying, of course, is more convenient.

That's a good point! I was thinking we could work around the moisture of the well by picking the right materials and maybe checking on them regularly for any wear and tear, but if you have a quirk that can make something better then I'm all for it!

Do you think you can make the plants into something that will be good even for people who aren't used to climbing trees?

Flying is good, but the well is narrow so it won't always be an option. I don't think there's enough space to spread wings properly and wind-related quirks would probably fall back on whoever is still down there if there's more than one person stuck. Do you know if we have any person with a hovering-quirk around besides Uraraka?

Not really but how hard can it be? All you need to do is to dig steps into a wall and make sure that they're good for footing - don't try that with stairs that go into a house though.

Right?! It seems really obvious once you think about it! Though it would have sucked if we put all the effort into making stairs for the well and then people got stuck on a rooftop instead the next time!

Good idea, Kirishima-kun! It does look like we're going to keep getting more newcomers and that'll make things easier for them when they first get here.

Maybe we could set up one of the abandoned buildings near the well as a first stop for the newcomers? We could keep towels and anything else newcomers might need there!

Thanks, Midoriya! Some others suggested that we could have some fire-users stay close in case anybody needs warming up too, and maybe some guys who are willing to do a quick question & answer with whoever shows up!

What do you think, is that feasible? We'd need to figure out when we ought to keep ready first.
