User: #FFDF00 - Mapping teamwork!! And other inquiries

Hi, everyone! This is Izuku Midoriya, in case you don't know my hex code yet.

1. Since it looks like we're stuck here for a while longer, I was thinking it would be a good idea to try collecting more information on this place, specifically the forest. As of right now, it's probably our best bet for finding a way out of here, and it's a source of food, too. [No matter how bad it all tastes.] Yaoyorozu-san and I have been trying to put together a working map, but we just don't have enough information to work with right now.

What do you think of us all working together to map the forest out? If we're successful, we'll be able to mark out the safer paths to take, as well as where we can find anything edible. The more people we have for this, the faster we'll be able to get the information we need!

2. If you've already gone into the forest and encountered something like the shadow monsters or some kind of magical trap, let me know! I can put together a database of sorts on this forum so we all know what kind of danger to look out for when we head in. I'll keep it updated if we run into anything else during this group trip, too.

3. Not related to the information gathering, but has anyone managed to find anything like tshirts and jeans around this place? I've found some extra clothing while cleaning this past week, but most of them don't fit me and they're not really in a style that I'm used to. So, if anyone needs an extra set of clothes, come find me?

[Shouto doesn't really think much about asking.

This shirt at least fits. Now for the pants.]

For now. That could always change.

[Izuku's so surprised that he actually whips his head around to stare at Todoroki.] I...I was just repeating what he said!

[And then he blinks.] Oh, you found something that fits.

[glaciers]

You didn't answer.

[Shouto doesn't even look back at him. He doesn't think anything he asked is weird... Instead he's picking up one of the pants and holding it up to his legs.]

[inheritance]

I don't know... I didn't really think about it.

[Part of him's still surprised that Todoroki's pressing him about this of all things, but then again, it's not like they've really had a chance to talk about personal things back home. There was always too much going on.

Besides, while he knows he's had reactions to girls around their age--] A-anyway, I'm mostly just happy that I have friends right now.

[It feels strange, admitting that out loud, but Todoroki already knows so...]

[glaciers]

[He doesn't mind one way or the other, he thinks. It's just something to talk about right now. Something a lot more normal than everything else going on.

But he goes quiet for a moment-]

It's nice. Having friends. I haven't really had them before this year either.

[inheritance]

Isn't it? [The smile returns to his face.]

Now you've got a lot of friends who care about you. [He pauses, thoughtful.] Sometimes I forget we've all only known each other for about half a year.

[But they've gone through so much together, it feels like longer.]

[glaciers]

[Yeah, Midoriya looks much better when he's smiling.

Though he'd personally only count his friends as a small handful of his classmates. But anything is a lot more than zero.]

With everything that's happened it seems like a lot longer.

[inheritance]

[His smile widens as he tilts his head back to look at Todoroki.]

That's what I was thinking. I know we have two more years left before we graduate, but I kind of wonder if some of us might end up opening hero agencies together.

[He likes to think that they're a pretty close-knit group by now.]

[glaciers]

There's been an increased focus on groups over solo heroes recently too.

I know you and I work well together. I can provide you all the cover and support you need.

[inheritance]

Right! Like they said at the provisional license exams.

[Izuku leans against his chair, looking pleased.]

We do make a good team. And there's Iida-kun, too! When we fought Stain together. And Uraraka-san... maybe the four of us...?

[He trails off sheepishly. It's pretty early to be thinking about this, isn't it?]

[glaciers]

Ah... I haven't had the opportunity to work with Uraraka before. But she seems nice and easy to get along with.

[Endlessly sunny but not as overbearing as Inasa. If he had to pick somebody to build a hero agency with... it would certainly be with Midoriya.]

Did you have a name in mind?

[inheritance]

She is! Uraraka-san's great. [Gush about his friends to his other friends? Not as impossible as it might seem...] I bet the two of you would work together pretty well, too.

A...hero agency name? [Izuku laughs a little.] Um, I always wanted to be All Might's side kick when I was growing up, but... I never thought I'd be able to open an agency of my own.

[glaciers]

[Both Todoroki and Uraraka gushed about Midoriya to each other so honestly... This seems reasonable enough to him.] It would be another short range-long range team up. We'll have to try it out some time.

I think people would question you if you named your agency after All Might. You're Deku. ... And considering everything that's happening, it wouldn't be that weird for you to try to establish an agency as soon as you graduated.

[inheritance]

Maybe I could convince Ichinose-sensei to host something like a teamwork exercise? Ah, I'm not sure if he'd be willing to, though...

[Izuku pauses, looking surprised.] You really think so? Um, about establishing one so soon.. I mean, people usually try to work as sidekicks a little before going off on their own, don't they?

[glaciers]

We could probably do something on our own. We don't have to bother him too much.

People usually don't get attacked by villains as much as we do. Besides, I know how a hero agency is supposed to run. [He's certainly been trained for it- even if Endeavor thought Shouto was going to take over his company.

Ridiculous.]

[inheritance]

We have been attacked a lot... [To a ridiculous degree, even.

He slides a concerned look over at Todoroki.] Because of your dad. [It's not even a question.] Has he...bothered you since we moved into the dorms?

[glaciers]

He showed up during remedial training.

[Everything about Shouto's stance and expression gives off the feeling he didn't want him there.]

[inheritance]

What?! [Izuku sits up so quickly, he almost falls out of the chair.]

What was he doing there?

[glaciers]

Watching his prize son.

... All Might was there too, I guess. Maybe they talked. I don't care.

[inheritance]

[All Might and Endeavor... Izuku's expression says exactly what he thinks of that.]

At least he hasn't been trying to bother you in the dorms. [Izuku would have to fight him if he did... no one messes with his friend, not even the technically #2 hero.]

[glaciers]

He won't be bothering me while we're stuck out here either.

... I guess I'm thankful for that.

[inheritance]

That's one silver lining. [Izuku musters a smile.]

So, he just showed up to the lessons... and watched? That's it?

[glaciers]

He tried to pat me on the head.

[Shouto looks incredibly sour about that.]

[inheritance]

He did what?

[He says it all with an incredulous look on his face. That sounds so...unlike the Endeavor that he's heard about.]

[glaciers]

He said he wants to be a better hero for me.

[G R O S S]

I don't know what All Might said to him.
