Is there anyone that has any skill at fixing walls? I fear that one became damaged during the chaos. It does not feel right to leave it partially ruined.

[ Especially since it pretty much has a Shen Qingqiu hole in it due to him being punched into said wall. Sigh!

But hm, moving away from that for a second, he thinks he can finally talk about something while having it sound like "nothing." Idle wondering of a mind getting used to this place! ]

This is a different thread all together. Sometimes, fate says that there is nothing that can be done in order to save one person. And sometimes, you must be the one to bring harm to the person you cherish. But still, you would like to hope even if you were the one to hurt them that they'll grow strong and happy one day, right?

[ If this is something that everyone can read, then... then! ]

The stories that we create for ourselves need not be tragedies if we do not let them be. Even if there is that moment, it can still end well. [ Holy fuck, does he hope that it will! ]

Anyway, the wall is still a problem so I'm hoping for a happy end for that, too.

He turns his head away. ..... will Wei Wuxian be okay? I'm suddenly a little worried for him. But she seems like an all right girl beneath the threats of tranquilizing. ]

He will be a good teacher for her. [ Probably! The "probably" is not so much on his skills and abilities, but having encountered Shiho once, he already is clapping his hands twice in front of a shrine and wishing for his Frog-bro's survival and health. ]

Liu-shidi is the sword of our sect. If he has arrived on scene, the matter will be handled with in seconds. This teacher has a lot of pride and admiration for the skill that he has. [ He's part of the demolition crew like you are! ]

And Shiho will be the best student he's ever had! She's clever and cool and super capable...and adorable to boot! [Also a psychometer.] She's kind too and loyal as they come! Really, where would he find anyone better?

[If you let her keep talking about her friend she could go on forever, really.]

[ But Shen Qingqiu can read the mood. Kaoru cares a lot about Shiho and so he won't say anything that would cause her to think that he would question her fond feelings. ]

I am certain Wei Wuxian would not be able to find anyone like her.

[ FUCKING. NAILED. IT. He wouldn't have minded! He thinks that it would probably cost the company that made it an arm and a leg in CG if they recorded what he could do! One of the rare times that Shen Qingqiu wishes that he focused a little on combat to be able to do something as cool as what his shidi could! ]

His fights made everyone feel humble when watching him. I sparred with him for an entire day and did not win one fight with him. But it would be more incredible if someone who focuses on the arts could beat someone who put their whole spirit into battle, right?

... it was educational. To learn from someone who has so much skill... one can't help but learn a thing or two from it.

Sorry! I'm just not really good at learning with books! Even with Minamoto's help I just barely got 70 on my exam that one time...and I couldn't even focus on studying until I had taken a little side trip [To a criminal organizations headquarters] and gotten back! [While being escorted by Comerican agents who found her and brought her back to Japan.]

Reading is really more Aoi's thing. She's really smart and studious and a really good girl! She's not here right now but I bet you would have liked her!

[ Here he thought she was going to roast him for being a huge fucking nerd but she actually is apologizing. And ... Shen Qingqiu feels a little bad for having her feel like he doesn't like her due to her not enjoying being studious in the way most teachers like their students to be.

He breathes out a small sigh, kicks himself in the pants (figuratively), and turns around. ]

It is fine. I like the girl who I am talking to now. Even if you would not do well on my peak, that does not mean much as the only sorrow I have is that you would not grow under such lessons. [ Given all her skill that he has just seen. ] You would do well under Liu-shidi and so, everyone should find the path that works best for them. That is what makes this teacher happiest.

[ A fond smile. ] Also, this boulder seems best. [ He gestures with his hand to the one behind him. With what little he knows about her, he feels giving her an out after giving her praise will save her from being too embarrassed. ]

Kaoru hadn't even meant it entirely like that. It was true that she wasn't often the favourite student, but far more than that, she was just happy thinking about how other people would definitely like her friends.

So she definitely hadn't been expecting that...even more so because she'd knows she'd never have received such compliments six years ago. And since she hasn't really met too many new adults since then it was...yeah. It was nice.

So even though she was blushing a little, she can't help but be pleased as well.]

Well, you know, there's no guarantee I wouldn't do well in a place like that. After all, for the last six years, the person who's been teaching me has been a bookish type too.

[But she is happy to turn her attention to the boulder and make a big show of looking it over.] A good choice! [She holds out both hands towards it and it starts to float up.]

[ He smiles in turn before stepping back as the boulder is lifted up. Neat. Shen Qingqiu can cause leaves and his fan to fly however he likes, but what he's looking at now is on a whole other level. Well, it is esper powers over cultivation. Still, what control that she has at her age.

Looking back, he adds instead of the praise on her abilities: ]

This teacher thinks that it's probably more important to someone that the hole is plugged sooner rather than later. For it will be one thing for a boulder to be the wall... and another, for there to be a hole for Keigo Asano to "notice" in the first place...

We went over what I am, and so there is nothing to be concerned about. [ There is PLENTY to be concerned about. This whole fucking forest feels fucking awful to me. I have no idea what the fuck is wrong with it! I can't call it evil energy but it feels just wrong! WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG! ]
