Ignis... the previous Ignis... he had a garden where lots of vegetables and fruits were grown for the town. I don't know what happened to it when the previous Ignis left, though. Maybe somebody took it over.

Most of the meat is hunted. I hunt daily, so if you're hungry, please let me know.

there is a good amount of hunting and gathering involved, but there are also gardens available, and a rice paddy for public use. i have been using it to practice making rice dishes, though they still need some work.

They might have been referring to Ignis's garden, he kept a good crop of veg and was generous with it.
