Hello, this is Emma.
I've noticed that everyone is offering up really great ideas like meetings and clinics and I wanted to help out as well. I'll leave the the major stuff to the specialists but I figured out one way.

Sewing!
We've been here for a while now and I know some people have been struggling with the clothes we've found around town. Making something from scratch might be hard but I can definitely work with what's already here. I had to fix clothes all the time when the little ones tore something or hit growth spurts.
So if you want something hemmed or altered I can help with that!
Of course, everything is going to have to be gray still. But that's better than wearing the same thing all the time!

If anyone knows how to sew I would welcome the help, and would definitely want to learn more advance techniques.

Thanks! It's not that special. I've just been taught since I was young.
I bet with a little bit of help you could learn how to sew too!

You're a major help, don't say otherwise! I wouldn't have cleared up the garden nearly as fast without your help.
Hemming is really, really easy. That's a perfect first project.

Sorry, I'm not. Not much use for that in an orphanage. Haha.
I found a run down tailor shop in Ruga though. They might have supplies there if you want to try it?

That's a shame. This thing is durable as hell, but it's already damaged.

I don't have much of a hand for repair, but I'm game for checking out this shop if you're willing to show me where it is. Never too late to learn something new, right?

Awesome! You found stuff around town too? An old store had some usable needles, pins, and threads.
There's fabric too, but I'm kind of worried what would everything will look like if we find a way to return their color. It's best to work with what we've got though.

I can actually just make these things.
It's an ability I have. Making the tools is easier than making fabric though.

Of course! Sewing machines haven't been around forever!
It's really not all that amazing but if you want to watch then I don't mind. It's nice to have someone to talk to while working. It can take a while if it's something complicated.

But it sounds like a plan. There's already a bunch of people that want to practice and get better!
Maybe we can even make some new clothes if we put our heads together.

I can help out, if you need another pair of hands. I've been trying to alter some of the clothes here already. The more hands the better, right?

Thankfully all the clothes are baggy enough that there's more than enough fabric to work with.

I think that's a good idea. Some of the clothing is kind of unsalvageable too, I think, so we can just use that for fabric too.

I don't mind lending you some tools! I found enough for everyone to at least try.

They are definitely lumpy. I don't think whoever sewed them thought about people moving around in them at all.

I helped Okuyasu make some tank tops so would you want one for training? They have to be easier to move around in.

I have a couple training shirts already! Nijimura-kun helped me rip up some shirts to make them sleeveless a couple days ago, but they are kind of fraying at the seams. Are you sure you don't mind?
